NEW FUNDING FOR SOCIAL COHESION

The Andrews Labor Government has opened its Social Cohesion Research Grants Program, with $500,000 available to fund community research into strengthening social cohesion, community resilience and preventing violent extremism.

Member for Broadmeadows Frank McGuire said the Program will work with the community to identify and provide evidence-based ideas and methods to counter violent extremism and promote multicultural inclusion within Victoria.
